和歌山県の沿岸中央部に位置する印南町は、山や海から獲れる沢山の恵みが人々の生活を支えてきた町。印南町では、郵便局前の「かえるのポスト」やJR印南駅舎内の「かえる」など、町のあちこちでかえるをみつけることができます。その中に、町のシンボルとなっている「かえる橋」があります。この「かえる橋」は、「努力、忍耐、飛躍」を象徴する「柳に跳びつくかえる」（小野道風）をイメージし、「かんがえる」、「ひとをかえる」、「まちをかえる」、「ふるさとへかえる」、「さかえる」という５つの“かえる”にひっかけてネーミングされました。
本年からはツールド熊野の第１ステージとして開催。レースは一周17.9ｋｍを7周回するコースとなる。印南町役場をスタートし、2.3ｋｍのパレード走行をした後、再び印南町役場手前からリアルスタート。県道202号線に向けて走行する。標高差は109ｍと高低差は少ない為、スピード感が感じられるコースとなっている。またこのコースはスプリントポイント（印南町役場前）、山岳ポイント（新大峠トンネル手前）を設けており観戦スポットになるだろう。
最終、かえる橋を通過し登りゴールを誰が最初に制するのか？ゴール前の白熱した選手の走りを肌で感じて欲しい。
Innami Town, located in the central coastal area of Wakayama Prefecture, has long been supported by the abundant blessings from its mountains and sea. In Innami Town, you can find frogs in various places, such as the "Frog Post" in front of the post office and the frog inside JR Innami Station. Among them, the town's symbol, "Kaeru Bridge," stands out.
The name "Kaeru Bridge" is inspired by the phrase "A frog leaping onto a willow branch", symbolizing "effort, perseverance, and advancement," associated with Ono no Michikaze. It is also named after five meanings of the word kaeru in Japanese: thinking (kangaeru), changing people (hito wo kaeru), changing the town (machi wo kaeru), returning home (furusato e kaeru), and prospering (sakaeru).
From this year, the race will be held as the first stage of the Tour de Kumano. The course consists of seven laps on a 17.9 km circuit. The race starts at the Innami Town Hall with a 2.3 km parade section, followed by a real start just before the town hall again. Riders will then head towards Prefectural Route 202. With an elevation difference of only 109 meters, the course has minimal height variation, making for a high-speed race.
Additionally, this course features a sprint point in front of the Innami Town Hall and a mountain point just before the Shindaitōge Tunnel, making them key viewing spots.
In the final stretch, the riders will pass over Kaeru Bridge before facing an uphill finish. Who will be the first to conquer the climb and cross the finish line? Feel the intensity of the final sprint up close!
